After our summer break, ICOM MUSIC is jumping back into gear with a plethora of events and announcements. We hope you also had a chance to relax and recharge over the summer and are ready for the busy months ahead!

Announcements:
The 2026 ICOM MUSIC Annual Meeting will be taking place next week at St Cecilia’s Hall, Edinburgh, UK, 3-5 September.  Although in-person registration is now closed, you can still register to attend online. Please review the conference programme for a full list of speakers and timings. Online registration can be done via the conference website. Online registration will close at 15:00 (GMT+1) on 2 September.

The online webinar series, Indigenous Data Sovereignty in the Age of AI, is taking place on 17 September 2026. The webinar consists of two sessions, held on the same day. Participants are welcome to attend either session individually or both sessions. Registration is required through this link.

Please mark your calendars for the ICOM MUSIC General Assembly which will take place on 23 September from 15:00-17:00 (CEST). To join the meeting via Microsoft Teams, please follow this link and use the passcode jS2uB3N3.
